Cabbage Salad with Dried Fruits and Nuts

A recipe for Tu B'Shvat

2 servings


  • ½ white cabbage, thinly sliced
  • ½ red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • Handful of cranberries
  • Handful of pecan nuts or walnuts
  • Handful of natural, salt-free peanuts, chopped
  • Handful of fresh parsley, chopped 
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • A little ground black pepper
  • 3 pitted dates, coarsely chopped, or 4 dried apricots, coarsely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive/canola oil


Mix all the ingredients and serve.
